The Picnic will take place on 13 September with the aim to collectively develop and learn on the subject: Finding relevant indicators for sustainable development in the European water sector. The Picnic is initiated by VA SYD (Sweden) and Waternet (The Netherlands). It will take place in Malmö, Sweden and is hosted by VA SYD.
More information about the Picnic and its content can be found in this small booklet. Participation in the Picnic is free of charge though participants need to cover their own costs of travelling, accommodation and meals.
The Picnic is open to participants in the EBCs' International Benchmarking exercise. You can register by sending an e-mail to: administrator@waterbenchmark.org before the 31st of August. There is a maximum of attendees, so don’t hesitate!
Knowledge Picnics
In short expert meetings (small groups of max.10 to 15 people), hosted by one of the participating utilities, experiences/best practices arround one specific process/theme will be discussed. The performance analyses can help identifying the relevent topics for these Picnics, determine improvement potentials and signalling the best performers in the group to share good practices with.
