On May 14, 2024, the EBC team took part in the Tri-national (D/PL/UA) Workshop on standardization in the Water sector at IFAT Munich, the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management.
The workshop was organized by the Netzwerk Technologietransfer Wasser (TTW), from the Bayerisches Landesamt für Umwelt. It was a good occasion to meet with colleagues from Germany, Poland and Ukraine and present our work on improving water services through benchmarking and learning from each other. The Ukrainian delegation confirmed the good experiences with the regional benchmarking activities that were facilitated by EBC and local partners a few years ago and expressed a desire to follow up on this.
We are grateful to Prof. Grambow and Mr. Worst for the invitation to join the workshop at IFAT and look forward to future collaboration with TTW and partners from Germany, Poland and Ukraine.
